Rediscovering the Doctrine of Christ: A Return to Authentic Faith

Rediscovering the Doctrine of Christ: Returning to the Foundation of Authentic Faith In an age where Christian teaching is increasingly fragmented, simplified, or shaped by trends, many believers are quietly asking a deeper question: What is the doctrine of Christ according to Scripture, and why does it matter today? The doctrine of Christ is not a peripheral topic. It is the foundation of the Christian faith , clearly defined in the Bible and central to the life, growth, and maturity of the Church. Yet for many modern believers, it has become either misunderstood, assumed, or replaced with motivational substitutes that lack spiritual depth. What Is the Doctrine of Christ According to the Bible? Scripture does not leave the doctrine of Christ open to speculation. Hebrews 6:1–2 outlines what the Bible calls the foundational doctrines of Christ : Repentance from dead works Faith toward God The doctrine of baptisms Laying on of hands Resurrection of the dead Eternal judgment These a...

Baptism in the Name of Jesus: A Scholarly Examination of Acts 2:38 and Apostolic Practice Introduction The doctrine of baptisms —notably plural in Hebrews 6:1-2—represents one of the foundational teachings of Christianity, yet it remains one of the most debated. At the center of this discussion lies a critical question: In whose name should believers be baptized? While some Christian traditions baptize using the Trinitarian formula found in Matthew 28:19, others practice baptism exclusively in the name of Jesus Christ, following the pattern established by Peter in Acts 2:38 . This study examines the biblical, theological, and historical foundations for baptism in Jesus' name , drawing from multiple scholarly and ministerial sources to provide a comprehensive understanding of this apostolic practice. The Biblical Foundation: Acts 2:38 The practice of baptizing exclusively in Jesus' name finds its primary scriptural basis in Acts 2:38, where Peter declares: "Repent, an...

THE ISRAEL OF GOD. Who are the Real Jews?

Image
THE ISRAEL OF GOD Galatians 6 : 15  For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision , but a new creature . 16  And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.   When the fallout between light and darkness happened in Heaven, God revealed His plan of redemption to all creation in Genesis 3:15 when He said that the seed of a woman will crush the head of the serpent . Now, out of His unsearchable wisdom, He chose the Jewish people to be the actualizers of His plan. Through them, He brought the God Son to be the propitiation for the sins of the world in accordance with the high Righteous requirement of God. Now, the Jewish people who are the nation of Israel are a very special lot in the eyes of Jehovah the Lord of Hosts . Chiefly because they were the ones who were given the oracles of God and we all have to learn from them. Secondly, since God consecrates/ sets-apart a perso...

10 Biblical Superfoods: Ancient Healing Foods for Modern Wellness

The wisdom of ancient nutrition has never been more relevant than it is today. While modern science continues to discover the incredible health benefits of various "superfoods," many of these nutritional powerhouses have been hiding in plain sight within the pages of Scripture for thousands of years. The Bible emphasizes that we should treat our bodies with care and respect, viewing them as spiritual vessels, and many of today's healthiest known foods were part of the biblical diet. The Foundation: Scripture's Nutritional Wisdom The Bible points us to Deuteronomy 8:8, where the Israelites are promised a good land… a land of wheat and barley, of vines, figs, and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey. This passage, known as the " Seven Species of the Promised Land ," forms the foundation of biblical nutrition and reveals God's provision of foods that modern science now recognizes as nutritional powerhouses.   A fulfillment of Daniel 9:27 from the Talmud Four signs of many that reveal Jesus of Nazareth as the cut-off Messiah who made all sacrifices and oblations in the Temple to cease . Daniel 9:27 “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week, he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease , and for overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Here we see the prophet warning us that after the messiah is cutoff, all the oblation would have ceased. Anyone who continued to offer these blood sacrifices of bulls and rams became a partaker of an abomination that only made him desolate and they would be punished in the end for Jesus the Lamb of God fulfilled all sacrifice and oblations to the satisfaction of the Father. It is recorded in the Talmud that Rabbis and the children of Israel observed the fulfillment of Daniel’s prophecy immed...
